Wildlife & Wildlife Safaris

Let one of our conservation team taken you into Arran’s National Scenic to observe the Red Deer, birds and other wildlife in the magnificence and serenity of their natural environment. Enjoy the spectacular views of Arran and the Clyde Estuary. The experience of venturing into this wilderness area, which is home to more than 1300 wild Red Deer, at least two breeding pairs of Golden Eagles and many other species, can be quite awe-inspiring.

Around the coast, a walk could lead to a chance encounter with otters, sightings seals and dolphins, or perhaps a basking shark. Minke whales are seen in the waters around Arran from time to time. Of the 200 species of birds recorded on Arran, many inhabit the coastal areas and wooded burnsides.

Keep a pair of binoculars handy and see what you can spot?
